But if you wanted a movie to be made about your book, wouldn't you want it to be pretty close to the actual story? It just sucks as fans not to be able to see your amazing work come to life the way it should!
That's a true shame, Mr. Delaney. I would have almost expected you to be on set at the time. A huge fan of your series (reading since 3rd grade, now in Highschool), I was underwhelmed by several aspects of the movie, and even decided not to finish it. The books always have a permanent place in my heart.
I absolutely loved your series of books about the Spook and his apprentice Tom Ward, so I'm not surprised that the movie did not live up to books - especially since you had such little input.
