That is what makes me think I wouldn't like the books. I have heard they are wildly different from the series, which I love. My husband said Lafayette was hardly a character at all in the books and he is one of my favorites.
Sadly that is true, because like you, I also love Lafayette in the show. The show does go way off point, but that's not to say that the books are boring, lol. All I can say is give it a shot. If you don't like it, it's no big deal. You've still got the show. :)

Sadly that is true, because like you, I also love Lafayette in the show. The show does go way off point, but that's not to say that the books are boring, lol. All I can say is give it a shot. If you don't like it, it's no big deal. You've still got the show. :)
