This. I can’t recommend this book. Some of it was so traumatic to read. But somehow the writing really does linger. That’s why I looked for this discussion board!
If Dickie doesn't shoot someone, then the whole book is kind of pointless. Why the first sentence? I think someone got shot, or Dickie shot himself.
You’ll think I’m very stupid then as I nominated it for a book group!
