i know you posted this two years ago but for future viewers of this question (like myself), YES YES YES! lol
I completely agree! I am also a student and we have all had our fill of books from the 1980's. This book is real, and informative to problems that are happening in our society. I am reading this on my own, but think that it would be a good book for class discussions.
