So! Let me get this straight ! Bella braves nightmares every night then composed herself gets up to face another day > when a gang of 5 guys tries to rape her she yells “let me go !” snaps a perfect groin kick and tries to run > when Edward leaves Bella feels like “ a big hole had been punched in my chest “and yet despite her pain does not turn to drugs ,drinking or guys or commit suicide but continues to go to school and stays near the top of her class, works after school in Sporting Goods store ( for her college fund) and cooks her Dad’s meals > Super tracker vampire James has his heart set on killing Bella. Bella Edward , Alice and Emit are in the Hummer speeding at 120mph away from Forks. Edward , Alice and James just want to get and stay away as fast as possible . It is courageous heroic Bella who has the loving intelligence to get her guardians to stop and go back into harms way (Bella’s House ) because if they don’t : 1) Bella just goes missing he FBI will be called and will investigate the Cullens exposing them as vampires 2)Vampire Tracker James will track her scent to her Father’s house and finding her absent will kill her Father . She ,a model of selfless love in action , thinks of the Cullens and Her father’s safety over her own . Therefore She goes back and pretends to have a quarrel with her father and tells him she is leaving and with James (and her Dad) watching she storms to her 1952 Chevy and drives off thus putting herself in peril but luring James away from her Father and making it unnecessary for the FBI to be called in one fell swoop . That’s a lot of PLUCK ( courage ) and brilliant strategy (not weakness and stupidity.) > Bella is told by James on the phone that he has her mother and will kill her unless Bella comes alone Bella sneaks off from her guardians and goes to meet James on the way there she thinks “ I never thought my own death before this but dying to save the life of someone I love seems like a pretty good way to die” (“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” –Jesus quoted in John 15:13) > Bella rides motorcycles ( in the book any way ) , jumps off a 100 ft cliff ( I’ve jumped off 60 ft and I can tell you it hurts if you don’t cut the water just right and it takes no small amount of courage) > Bella stomps up to the werewolf gang and demands “ what have you done to[my friend] Jacob !” Big muscular Paul laughs Bella slaps him in the face > Bella charges off to Italy without a second thought to try to save Edward even though she knew the Italian vampires would likely kill her >Bella seeing that Edward is about to have his head ripped off by two vampires has the strength and presence of mind to QUICKLY reach down garb a sharp rock and in one stroke with all her might slash opened her fore arm and offer the blood to the two vampire to distract them from killing Edward. Cutting your self with a knife is easy and painless but with a rock it takes UMPH ! and is very painful but strong brave Bella does it a fast and deftly as Jason Borne . Bella is someone you want one you side > Bella refuses an abortion even though her pregnancy is extremely painful and the Indian lady and the doctor both predict “DEATH unless it’s cut out Bella jut says “I wont die ! I’m strong enough to do this! “> Bella Braves the excruciating pain of being transformed without moving and crying out because she knows her friends would be hurt by her pain . All other newborns writhe and scream from the pain but Bella remains calm and still counts her breathes and suffers that excruciating agony in silence . “
And you say “ I HATE Bella because she is WEAK and STUPID “????
Lets look at what strength and wisdom are
REAL STRENGHT IS HAVING THE COURAGE AND FORITUDE TO DO WHAT WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY IN THE LONG RUN . Bella loved her Mother , Edward and her baby so much that she was HAPPY to risk her life .
Is it stupid for Bella to risk her life to save those she loves ? Is it wrong to risk ones life to save others if you know that unless you act they will surely die? The marines don’t think so “Leave no (wounded ) man behind .” is the marine’s ethos . Are you saying the marines are “weak and stupid” to risk their lives for each other ?Is a marine who falls on a grenade on a roof top to save his brothers “a weak , stupid airhead “ to be hated ? or does he deserve a silver star metal and to be loved and honored ?

I think Bella deserves a silver cross and to be loved and honored not to be hated as “weak stupid airhead “ and I definitely don’t think she is a helpless puppy . She was wise and strong because those who live and die for love will merge and surge in supreme happiness in the surging ocean of love for eternity . Any one who loves will find God . Anyone who can love has a soul . God is the ocean of love and the soul is its drop .
Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. John 12:25
This means that if you love selfish worldly pleasures ( drugs , sex , possessions ,ambition, fame , power ) you will not get eternal life in the ocean of love and will be unhappy . But for the sake of love for God , thy neighbor and thy soul you hate these worldly aims and choose to love and serve God and your fellow man then you will get eternal life in the ocean of love and be happy .
So Bella is actually strong and wise
And you hate her because she’s weak ? have you every ridden a dirt bike or jumped off a 100ft cliff , or kicked a rapest in the groin or given someone who stole a kiss from you a left hook hard enough to break you hand ? Do you eve know what a left hook is ?
Make no mistake Bella is one tough cookie. It takes no strength to call her weak and helpless . Any 5 girl of five years can call someone weak but could you do the things she did in the story ?

Regarding Edward stalking : This book gives the message that teenage girls should date Fantastic looking guys , who make straight A’s , Who are held in high esteem by all their teachers , whose father is a very renown physician and a credit to the local hospital . Who save their lives from a speeding car and a gang of rapists . Whose family is respected by the local police chief . Who have a lot of wealth , dress very well and are of immaculate hygiene . Whom they feel a onepointed love for . Because I just described EDWARD to a T as shown in the story .
4) Define : stalking( practical definition) -
Stalking is unwanted or obsessive attention by an individual or group towards another person. Stalking behaviors are related to harassment and intimidation and may include following the victim in person or monitoring them.

Stalking is conservatively defined as "a course of conduct directed at a specific person that involves repeated (two or more occasions) visual or physical proximity, nonconsensual communication, or verbal, written, or implied threats, or a combination thereof, that would CAUSE a reasonable person FEAR ." Your calling Edward a stalker is inconstant with the above definitions as follows :
Bella WANTED to communicate with Edward . She WANTED to confront him about why he did not want to be with her in biology . STALKING is UNWANTED attention or communications that FRIGHTEN the person being stalked .
There were no implied threats , harassment or intimidation RATHER Edward was PROTECTIVE of Bella and made her FEEL SAFE . He saved her life from an skidding car . He saved her from a group of rapists .

When Bella saw Edward her face would lite up with a smile as if the light of her life had just walked in . Bella was joyful and relieved when ever Edward showed up . She was looking LONGINGLY for him and LOVINGLY at him . Stalking by definition is Unwanted attention that causes fear in the stalked .
Stalking is one sided . Bella wants to kiss and even “make love” with Edward but it is Edward who demonstrates good old fashioned morality and they end up just talking all night or he reads poems to her or sings lullabys to her . I think that is sweet . I don’t think that is stalking which by the above definitions implies sexual or physical harassment. Bella stated over and over “you wont hurt me – I trust you – lets hang out “ Edward is the one who says “ That’s is not a good idea . its not safe for you “ Edwards attention is not stalking but solicited by Bella .
Edward is a classically trained pianist which is more in character with a highly refined gentlemen than a stalker . Insits on meeting Bella’s Dad when he takes her out on their first date like a perfect gentle man . Bellas father is the chief or police and says “ I like those Cullen’s kids a lot better than ome of these local hell raisers – They are good kids “ Edward is very considerate of Bella . He wants Bella to have all the normal human experiences . He refuses Bella’s request to turn her into a vampire . (though that would make it easier for him he wants what is best for her at his own expense . Takes her to the prom . etc etc . Stalkers do not usually want to meet the father of the stalked especially when he is the police chief .
