Sometimes it seems to me that the whole Vietnam Era has been erased, at least in terms of the more existential lessons we learned from it.
Good or bad is a subjective judgment. We think we’re good, but we probably look bad to some people. And plenty of bad guys (from our point of view) may regard themselves as good, in their own way.
I quote the saying, "Everyone is the hero of their own story."

Good or bad is a subjective judgment. We think we’re good, but we probably look bad to some people. And plenty of bad guys (from our point of view) may regard themselves as good, in their own way.
