(view spoiler)[ The implication seems to me that she returns (with her memories) to the time where Todd WOULD have stabbed the man but since she prevented all of those events, he simply comes home. She goes to sleep knowing this is an altered futrue, and wakes up simply a part of the timeline. She does not remember that she altered time, the version of herself at the very end had lived out the entire timeline. The 'Deja vu' feeling described at the beginning AND end of the book is the feeling that indicated time was being changed. Im working on writing a full analysis of the ending later soooo yea (hide spoiler)]
