Thank you very much, Sian. I was becoming suspicious and now I know my suspicions were right. You have saved me from a disaster!
Good Day Ms. O’Gorman. I’m also an author and have had someone named Emily P. Megan give me your name as a client for promoting your works to book clubs.
She even provided me with a Gmail address so I could contact you directly.
Thank you for answering Ms. Mouw’s question. You have done me a great service as well.
Dear Ms O'Gorman, I have also been solicited by a book placement expert using the name Ella Brooks. She identified you, Sian O Gorman (note the missing apostrophe) as a reference with regard to If We Could Turn Back Time. A contact email was provided and Sian O' Gorman (note the added space) responded to my query as a satisfied user of Ella's services. I thought you should know a scammer is using a similar identity and misrepresenting you.
I'll add to the comments above. I was contacted by a Sophie Clara Bennett offering the same as mentioned by the others. She provided the email hellosianogorman001@gmail.com as a way to contact you for a reference. I'm grateful for the comments here. Saved me as well.
I was just contacted by someone named Charlotte Hayes who has your photo on her website with a testimonial about how she helped you!
Evie Lawson is another name used for the same scam. She provided the email hellosianogorman001@gmail.com as a reference contact
Since we're adding to this thread, let's put Katherine Rose Lynn's name on the list. She also used your name as a reference for a marketing job. The email address was a dead giveaway, but I wanted to check and make sure. Sorry your name is being used this way!
Can I ask - Is Katherine Rose Lynn not a genuine book marketing specialist ? I saw something from her the other day
