Mark Reichert Thank you very much for answering and for posting that correction because I didn't know how to follow up. FF means Marvel's Fantastic Four and I did not in any way mean to suggest that it was an inspiration. That was all my attempt to imagine a construct of earth capable of standing and grabbing and speaking, with human eyes. Thank you again and no need to respond unless I've made a mistake that needs correcting.

Lois Bujold Ah, thanks for the FF info. I don't follow the comics world much, apart from manga. (And to me, FF means "Falling Free", heh.)
