Very interesting, very interesting. One of the questions that arose from my bookclub was; where was the father, why did he have to leave? After reading the book, the first impression was the important role of the father-figure in the family. I find this little aspect of the book interesting point of discussion, especially in today's society with the glorified-singledom.
