Thanks! I thought it was because of the bracelet and her "making her own fate". But your answer makes more sense, as he acts like he broke the curse.
So is Jacks a mortal human now? Not that I disagree with you, but after the kiss he's referred to as "not-quite-human" even though he loves Evangeline. There is also no mention of him losing his immortality or magical look. Even though the Caraval series made it seem like a big deal. Again, I'm not disagreeing with you, just confused.
