I was reading my science class and when I got to that part of the book, I freaking out in my head but trying to look normal on the outside.
When I first read the book (in my bedroom) I had to put the book down to calm myself because I literally almost started shouting about how it wasn't fair and Maven was too perfect for Mare to ever betray her.
At the moment I was like "ooookkkay then. Now I can't support Maven anymore! What a pity, I liked him more than Cal."
Don't worry, I loooove Cal now. I'm ashamed that I ever liked Mavey Wavey!
I was in my room reading and I immediately had to call my friend who told me to read these books (she got me obsessed XD) and rant about how sad I was. She warned me of betrayal, and right as I gave up and started to ship Mare x Maven, THAT happened.
