That makes me extremely happy! I'll be looking forward to it! :) :)
I'm so happy to hear this. I bought the first book last week and after reading about half of it went ahead and ordered the other two in the series. They came today and I read them both in one sitting. I ordered the first one on a whim after accidently stumbling across them while searching for Science fiction/Fantasy books with gay themes. I'm a gay man who doesn't have a "fabulous" bone in my body so it was refreshing to read a story about two men who weren't another stereotyped image. I realize there are plenty of gay men like Clark (not that there's anything wrong with that) but, there's plenty of us who aren't . I want to know the rest of Isaac and David's story. I also guess this means I will be adding a romance section to my personal library.
That's so wonderful to hear! Thank you for sharing that, Andrew. And yes, there will be more Isaac and David to come. :)
So happy to hear you'll continue with this couple. I've lived in San Francisco for over thirty years and seen it change so much. While reading about their hopes for the future I couldn't help but think they might end up in the Northern Bay Area which is still relatively rural. I could see them renting a farm in northern Marin from an older couple with a lesbian coven next door who sell organic tinctures and herbs because that's kind of a thing there. Sonoma and Napa counties are famous for wine but also produce a lot of apples so maybe they might end up with an orchard and a barn to work in... Wherever they end up, with a little luck they can strike a balance between the rural life they grew up with and the city life they've come to enjoy. I hope you'll also research the gay rodeo circuit, it might be fun to see something like that at the Santa Rosa fairgrounds through ex-Amish eyes...
Thanks so much, Quartknee. So funny you mention Marin County and Napa, as I'm considering both of those for David and Isaac's eventual house. Glad to know I'm on the right track! And thanks for the gay rodeo tip. I'll check it out! :)
I NEED THIS TO HAPPEN! I reluctantly read the first one and ended up reading all three books in three days. Amazing story! Amazing character development! I love David and Isaac!
Thank you so much, Hans! I'm so glad to hear it. Yes, I definitely do plan to write more for Isaac and David in the future. Also, their first Christmas together will be featuring in this charity anthology in December: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Keira, this trilogy has affected me deeply. I can't get the story or the characters out of my head. I'm an emotional wreck this morning after finishing 'A Way Home'. I'm so looking forward to book four. Please do it!
I keep thinking about the siblings and those left behind. I hope you'll find a way to explore more of their stories too.
