message 1: by Ashley (new)

Ashley To be honest he gets on my nerves because although he is strategic with his plans, he's reckless and careless of consequences. I know he doesn't want America to get hurt but I feel he doesn't care of the outcome of things.

message 2: by Jaehyun (new)

Jaehyun I agree. I have a feeling he's gonna go rogue at any moment.

message 3: by Suzanne (new)

Suzanne Sinclair Agree. Kept thinking he was going to turn out to be involved with Lucy.

message 4: by Cecilia (new)

Cecilia I haven't read the rest of the books, but I keep thinking he's part of the rebellion.

message 5: by Aly (new)

Aly I still don't trust Aspen......oh boy.

message 8: by Amelie (new)

Amelie YES!! He seriously gets on my nerves, every time he's in the book!

message 9: by Patz (new)

Patz Elric agreed, I'm getting this bad feeling that he's going to be the bigger villain in the trilogy, leaving aside the south rebels or The King himself (I just finished this one, I haven't finish the 3th book), he gaves me the same vibe as Gayle from The Hunger Games, don't you think? a good friend/boyfriend at the beggining, but a complete idiot at the end.

message 10: by Logan (new)

Logan Donoghue I totally agree with you that he is untrustworthy. For most of the storylines, he screams so many red flags. He claims to want what is best for America, but is so selfish for his own wants.
