I never felt that his bias toward science was ever overbearing or went against the books intended purpose and goals (of which were clearly set forth from the very beginning, not sure what you expected). It still does a great job of laying out information and leaving the reader to interpret things how they will. You are similarly wearing a religious banner on your own forehead with this comment.
