I despised Gone Girl. Hours of reading that I will never get back. Not one redeeming quality among the lot of characters. I've started reading "The Girl on the Train". Thanks to your post, Nuala, I think I can keep reading. :)

I also hated Gone Girl, and The Girl on the Train is a bookclub book for later this year.Thanks for your post and insightful comments Nuala
