Amy Its a good question depending on the audience intended for the book or if one is the mood to read a book with sex or not. For me, I always want to know if the dog or cat died, frankly.

Tammy For me, I want to know if it's okay if my younger kids overhear parts when I'm listening on a long drive. If I'm the driver I won't use headphones/earbuds because I still need to hear my kids or sirens or horns. If there's explicit sexual content, I won't listen with my kids in the car and I'll save it for times I can use my headphones.

Rob Because the pearl clutched have to protect themselves from such harmless content. What’s sad is they generally don’t give a crap about violence in the books. Such a bizarre hang-up.
