Suzannah Thank you. I won't read it then.

Judith I wouldn't decide against it because someone else didn't like it...I thought it was pretty interesting!

Debbie The book was very good; I meant the ending was not to my liking. Wasn’t trying to turn anyone away from reading it. Judy offering my opinion on the ending.

Judith (Do we know each other Debbie?) Did you think the ending revealed the truth or was there another explanation?

message 5: by Debbie (new)

Debbie Have you read it? My feeling is (was) that the right person was revealed. What did you think?

message 6: by Judith (new)

Judith Yes, I read it & thought the same thing...but still, didn't you wonder if Miranda jumped to the logical conclusion & if Dan would have explained it somehow?

message 7: by Debbie (new)

Debbie I think the father was a little wily and got away with murder until the end. I am a true crime addict and this fits well with so many books I have read or crime shows that I have seen dramatized.

message 8: by Judith (new)

Judith Me too...but I wanted to know why Dan risked keeping the one thing that would convict him, & why Miranda or the cops didn't find it in the jewelry box during their searches?

Debbie As a true crime fan I see this happen. I think we are a lucky population as many criminals are not as sharp as they think and usually forget to check off “one box” which entraps them. Interesting take that the police did not find it. Perhaps it was somewhere else for some time and was then replaced in the jewelry box?
