PaulC Did you ever finish? It sounds like cliff notes or some type of outline would be useful to make it easier to follow.

Ann-Marie Yes, I did finish it. It eventually made some sense at the end. I’m just guessing and I have no claim to be any kind of expert on diving into the meaning behind literary works, but maybe part of it was to show how being in combat changes your thinking and things become blurred due to stress? I dunno that’s just my guess. It was alright, I won’t ever re-read it again. Quite a few books that get prizes or some kind of fancy pants recognition don’t ever really enthrall me and have me actually enjoy the story that I get taken away to.

PaulC Thanks. I feel the same way. Sometimes it's the concept that impresses professional reviewers even if the content is not well presented. Who is the intended audience? Who knows. lol.
