OK thanks. Without spoiling anything, could you maybe just say if the explanation will involve something mystical/magical (basically, non-scientific)? I got that vibe from the cover, but maybe I'm mistaken (I surely hope I am).
The book (and possibly series--if the first novel sells) is about science. Not superstition. I hope that helps.
