Liked the Kirk Cameron version. NOT a fan of the Nicolas Cage take. I'm looking forward to the Kevin Sorbo interpretation.
While I know the movies don't necessarily follow the books, it's a groaner when fans of books wonder if the movie-makers even read the books.
A day or so ago, I watched a Books vs Movie clip on Youtube about Jaws. Steven Spielberg supposedly said that the characters in the book were so unlikeable that he was rooting for the shark. Sometimes the movie is better. In the case of the Left Behind series, the books (and the dramatic audio series) are winning the day.
