I feel overwhelmed right now!! I have one novel under contract and am waiting to be assigned an editor. Now I just had a three-book contract offer from a different publisher for my Sticks in a Bundle trilogy!! Both you and a California friend, not a writer, told me to have courage and believe in my storyline--and it worked!

I highly recommend a good writing critique group if you can find one that fits your work. There are many online. Sometimes you have to try out a couple to find the one that gives the type of feedback you desire.

I do not journal. Any time I have to write goes into my novels. Keep writing!

I am over the moon happy for you Pat. Congratulations on the three book deal. You deserve this after all the hard work you put into your storytelling. I am so proud of you my dear friend. You'll be working this December, I gather? I took a break yesterday. I am working on a short film and was working on setting the dialogue for certain scenes. I really want to make a breakthrough in the film world in South Africa, Africa and internationally. I have to start small but dream big. I gave up on a lot when I came home from Johannesburg in my early twenties. I was working at a production company, a media firm there and my background was film school.
