I think Rooney Mara would be great.... plus I would enjoy watching her in some of my favourite scenes from the book. ;)
I think she absolutely knocked it out of the park with Dragon Tattoo. (I'm still hoping for that sequel). She's shorter than the real Marie was, but it would be hard to find someone both tall AND waify.
