I agree Carly! I thought it was an interesting contrast between the two couples, and that Levin is the main character. Anna's story, with the huge passionate love (which did not appear at all joyful to me), ends so tragically. While Kitty, heartbroken at Vronsky's rejection, ultimately finds a happy contented life.
Be aware that Levin is his last name but Konstantin is his first name. ;) For some reason Tolstoy refers to some characters by their last names.
