Couple of things about Jeremy trying to kill Verity via car accident. First, as mentioned by another person above comment, wouldn't someone notice the tape marks on her? I especially think it would have been noticed on her wrists (if you realize that someone is going to kill you, you'd try to get out of the restraints). Secondly, where was Crew during this car trip? I can see Verity willing to leave a young child at home by himself while trying to kill a spouse (if roles were reversed), but Jeremy (doesn't matter if child was asleep for the night)? It's not like he could call a babysitter/nanny up & say, please stay with Crew while I try to kill his mother.
Though at the same time... don't they do brain scans of someone in a permanent vegetative state? Wouldn't it show the difference between a vegetative state vs faking it????
