As to whether the beetles arrived and worked, the book does cover that…at the end Rocky tells Grace that his scientists have noticed that Sol has regained it’s brightness to pre-astrophage times….so that part is answered. Whether Grace goes back…hmm, from his integration with Rocky’s people I would say no.
