Geary Finished your wonderful novel this morning, and immediately wished for a sequel with a college-bound Mad and Six-Thirty's (well-educated) offspring. Looking forward to your next work - and Thank You !

Bonnie Thanks so much! And I like that idea--Six-Thirty's educated offspring!

Pam Mancine-Verna Loved this book! I'm new to you and I'll search for more of your books! You have wonderful character development and storyline narratives. I loved Six-Thirty and I'm glad you gave him a voice, as he was yours and Mad's protector! Good job!!!

Bonnie Thanks, Pam! But don't search too far--this is my first book!

Pam Mancine-Verna I thought so...I've searched! I guess I'll just tell you to hurry on the next one! Hahaha! Thanks for your personal reply!

Janet I just finished Lessons in Chemistry. I loved the story and did not want it to end. I already miss Elizabeth and 630!
I entered a male dominated field in 1981 (Mechanical Engineering) and graduated as 1 of only 2 females at a large state university. I have nothing but respect, appreciation, and admiration for the women who blazed a trail for me. I find myself still encouraging young women to enter science and technology fields. The engineering department in the manufacturing facility where I work now has an equal number of females and males. And we are exceptional because of it.
I look forward to your next book!

Susan Dooley My mother was a chemjstry major and I never realized some of the incidents in the book were what she most likely experienced and could have accounted for some of her depression that was never acknowledged but looking back, I can see it was most likely so. She graduated from Furman University in the early 40's and at that time, a woman chem major was very unusual.

Meg I am so glad you did. Six-Thirty was one of my favorite aspects of the story.
