Rose Humphreys Can one misinterpret a story? I'm not sure one can as each of us reads a book differently. I can miss something or I can take away something different to another reader but no one can say I misinterpreted it. Each work of fiction is open to interpretation by individual readers. That's why we all have such subjective opinions.


Nof*cking Antoinette True! So true. Nonetheless, there's still a framework within which a story can be read, understood and commented. I found that the author wandered outside of this framework looking for some meanings that weren't there. Mind you, I'm not a person of limits or frameworks or classifications
