Keep your sorry for yourself. Suleika met Jon when she was a teenager. She didn't 'immediately switch to Jon' as you suggested, Jon had been very patient and waited for her. It was Seamus breaking up with her, she was heartbroken. Read the book, woman. Seamus KcKiernan is happily living with his girlfriend. And Suleika is happily living with Jon. They are not sorry, life goes on and goes well for them all.
