Emilie Thank you so much for being direct and answering my question. I appreciate this. There are too many good books out there, I shall pass on this one.

Kevin The concepts of magical fiction and time distortion introduce interesting moral choices, but here (in discussing this book) we ought to simply things. In the construct of where Katy is (or thinks she is, living a romantic Italian pilgrimage of re-discovery), how is she conducting herself?
Defenders will say that Katy’s Italian vacation is, in truth, a dream sequence, so anything she experiences is not “real”. However, this “dream” is unlike anything I or any of the other reviewers can claim to have experienced. We sometimes have very detailed and mysterious dreams, but in this case, the dream (which includes sleeping, wake cycles, eating, visits to cool places, more eating, and visiting with a younger version of “mom”) extends for a full week. She also willingly and enthusiastically engages in fun times with her French toy-boy.
So “did she”? She certainly tried her best, and we can guess she didn’t share this “dream” with her poor in-the-dark Beta husband after he arrives. She jumped in the sack with him as if nothing had happened.
Guilty as charged.

Kelly I disagree. I read it that she didn't cheat on her husband at all.
