I agree he has helped to some extent (nothing major except lending a hand here and there) but after reading more than 8 books about percy jackson u kinda expect him to be the centre of attention where he becomes awesome, gains some new powerups and kicks some giants ass ( he even got his ass handed to him by polybotes though i felt the reason mentioned by him not diverting the poison to be lame ) where as u had only 1 book kind of relation with jason and he turns out to be the most important character towards the end. That is what frustrated me the most
I agree with Sushanth Sai yeah Percy didn't have to be the center of attention the whole time but he is the best demigod out there AND HE WAS EVEN OFFERED GODHOOD. I mean come on he is way better than Jason and that should have been enforced in this book.
