hi so I like to ask you what was those books you had manged ? i would like to compair some of these series myself if you could tell me more about them. thanks. oh and good comment.
Hi Ashley, can you tell me what you mean by "what were the books I've managed?" I'm not sure I understand your question. Also, what books would you like me to tell you about...The books in the consequences series or The Life of Anna books? Do you want just a basic story line or would you like me to tell you how different these books are from FSOG? I bought all 3 books of FSOG at once, but it was like pulling teeth to finish them (didn't wanna waste my $$, but at the end I'd have gladly wasted my $$ to get the time back that I wasted on that series. I won't go near the Silvia Day books since all the reviews say there just another group of FSOG books. Just tell me exactly what you'd like me to tell you (spoilers or no spoilers) and what you mean by books I have managed. I look forward to hearing back from you :)
No Just the story line to it sorry I guess my fazing was a little confusing lol I have read all of the crossfire seriues that is out so far it is way more personal and I have read a lot of books with same back rounds to them some are just great but most is to corny for me I'm sure it same as you.
Marissa Honeycutt is the Author for the Life Of Anna, the first book is free, Enslaved then 2nd is Entwined, 3rd Embraced and I had the AMAZING honor of being a beta reader for Marissa for book 4 Ensnared. Yes, the books are Erotic (most people are comparing them to the Dark Duet series) but I think these books are so much better. You can find Marissa Honeycutt on Facebook and all of us who are totally devoted to this series. It's strange for me to read an erotic book (it's not really my thing...and paranormal is DEFINITELY not my thing...I avoid any book that has "paranormal" as a major description, BUT this book isn't paranormal in the way most think of paranormal, this is stuff that actually can and DOES happen. Right away I noticed there was a lot of symbolism between the lines and it made me think of the movie Eyes Wide Shut...It's a secret society, a devious secret society run by the powerful politicians (or rather they're ran by the society that they are a part of, and the leaders of that society). This is about the devious nature and even more devious sexual nature that these men use as a means of gratification and manipulation. Then there's Anna, your heart will bleed for her, you'll get mad, maybe even sick (Marissa Honeycutt is the first author I've read so far that has held NO PUNCHES back...if it's taboo, it's in this book. You realize that the sex scenes are more than just this author writing an erotic novel...they have a purpose and therefore are necessary in understanding the story and mostly Anna. I'll admit that it took me until book end of book 2 before I started understanding Anna and not just being frustrated. There's a BUNCH of us all over the sites discussion/support groups, that you'll be added to, if you want, when you finish each book. Each book has it's own discussion group, and even us betas have our own group. We talk about the books, put the clues and pieces together and try to figure out what's going to happen next. In a "Consequences Novel" sort of way, this book will shock and surprise you (NOT always in a good way). Marissa has already promised us a HEA (I'm not giving anything away, she says this in the notes before book 1, but most EVERYONE is wondering what in the world her Idea of an HEA will be, just because of some of the events in the book. Yes it's under Erotica and Paranormal, but these books have serious depth, aren't paranormal in the sense most people would associate with and isn't just the hero and heroine having sex scene after sex scene...FAR FROM IT, but there is a lot of sex...I just can't saw how without ruining the books. If you don't get easily offended with books, can handle disturbing content and are ready for a brilliant series, the type I've not seen the likes of (there's no book that comes close in a way to compare...it's a series all its own with a brand new type of story that's un-put-down-able) then try Enslaved for free on Amazon right now...be prepared to have your heart torn out. Make sure you don't break your kindle and make sure you set time aside as you won't be able to stop once you start. I'd love to see what you think of Life of Anna by Marissa Honeycutt (brand new author, who's series is 2nd in the list for Best Dark Reads of 2014 and who is up for best new author). I'll give you a break down of the consequences story in my next message. P.S. do you mind mild spoilers, or no spoilers at all? I can't believe you haven't just picked up this book and read it yet. Tony is SO not a monster, but then I've been #teamTONY since the get go. I'm a little twisted and yes, Tony is a lot twisted...I just loved him though.
I think I will put all my others on hold a little longer and start reading these books. I don't normally read those kind of stories but you got me interested and yes you can spoil away if you like, lol
Wait do it matter if it's life of Anna ? first or Consequences ?
Finally someone who doesn't think so highly of FSOG this book is nothing like FSOG for one the writing style is so much better, her flow of words are better. Aleatha has a way of making you believe if for a short while reading, that you are truly living her characters lives.
You should try the audiobooks believe it or not it doesn't sound all cheesey like some audio's of course not because they are mostly Sabastian York. He is amazing and only does Consequences justice. The best audio out of the series is Consequences :behind his eyes and Truth:behind his eyes both By Sebastian York these two books are both told entirely in Toneys POV.
