Vicki Mock I did buy her latest book about Covid. I've rated it a 3. I guess she has run out of steam. It is sadly the last Picoult book I will buy. At one time she was my favourite author. It read everything she had written.

Sophie Caliendo I agree

Pat Johnson You may want to pick the book up again as there are twists and turns and stories within stories. This book is about more than the pandemic.
I gave it 5 stars which is VERY rare for me.

Sophie Caliendo Pat: I will attempt it again. Thanks

Wil A Emerson IF you attempt it again, be prepared for the twist. Yes, a nice one...but also be prepared for her political, culture revents, and even striking man out of nearly everything. Womyn...dear god, the lefties, feminist won't let go. And Jodi's not a victim but has drank the juice. Perhaps husband problems....she has a knack in the story for leaving them out in the cold.

Kaylie Tam I would say be careful of the major twist, because that was the dealbreaker for me. It made me feel like what I had read up to that point was a big fat joke, and I hate it when authors resolve a conflict with a non-resolution.

Wil A Emerson Her writing has taken on a personal agenda it seems. Revenge, angst against society, trying to prove her 'world' is the only right one...a mystery but the stories are not enjoyable or satisfying anymore. It truly seems a big shift in life occurred and usually it's not one the person likes so they go on the defensive to prove they are not biased or judgmental. My guess...nothing more.

Emelyn Lee Man (ain't gonna be PC with the womyn thing), I felt really deflated when Act 1 ended, like, it was anti-climatic when Diana wakes up to reality & I was imagining an idyllic island life. At least I could move faster since I've read the same stuff in the news.

It couldn't have been worse than the Book of 2 Ways, could it?
