I am 14 years old so I was asking for myself.
I would say that it would depend on the types of stories that you read. The book is a psychological investigation into the characters and their relationships more than a description of events happening so it can be long and dry for some people. This is true even for adults but if you are able to get through it the book is a classic for a reason and is an excellent work.
I would say you will know pretty quickly if it is a book you will enjoy.
