Yes! I thought the same about the headboard.
The headboard! I thought exactly the same thing... why did we have to go there?
And the 2nd floor issue - I thought that was odd too. I kept waiting on details to tell us that Jeremy was the bad guy in all of this. I still think he is - to some extent.
Maybe his reasoning for putting her on the second floor was his attempt to catch her in the act? Maybe he did know way more than he let on, I agree that he may have wanted to separate her from the office.
Omg! I love it "Girl, did you really have to bite the headboard?" And not only bite it but bite it harder!
My issue with the "creeping around you while you slept" is not only all the obvious issues with it, but the fact that Low remarks how Jeremy is a night-owl, so between the day-nurses and him not sleeping in the same rhythm as Crew does I think there's a very small window of opportunity for Verity, and one heck of a risky one too?
I agree with you! Throughout the whole book I had the feeling that something is just not right with Jeremy and then Low developed habits like biting the bed and when she tried to keep the sperm inside her…it gave me chills because she seemed to become equally obsessed with Jeremy as Verity described in the manuscript. Jeremy has a dark side, so does Low…and I cannot believe a mother could really bring it over her heart to write such disgusting things about her kids if she didn’t felt that way
Right?! I mean really! Of all things to copy! Y didn’t Jeremy find it really weird that she but the headboard in the very same place!
