Melissa I wondered the same at thing at first and then I settled on the idea that maybe this was yet another way to ensure she kept Jeremy. And if she continued to pretend she couldn't speak for herself maybe she wouldn't have to answer any lingering questions he might've had.

It struck me as a form of munchausen's syndrome. I mean the idea that she was waiting for the right time to bail didn't sit well with me. Not if she had countless opportunities and yet chose to search around in her office. Or lock her cheating husband in their bedroom.

But I find it kind of strange she could fake it so well that she snowed a couple of experienced nurses.

Mariana Fernandes at a certain point, Jeremy admits he's angry at Verity - maybe because after all they've lost, she tried to take her life. maybe she feared he'd see it another loss for him to deal with, for their kid to deal with - becoming incapacitated (or pretending to be so) would force Jeremy to focus on her only as she wanted to. maybe she feared that things wouldn't be the same after an attempt? I don't even know what to think, I'm extremely confused atm.
