I love it, Tracy. Reliance on the other senses to cover the deficit caused by deafness is fascinating to explore. My daughter has a friend who lost his hearing as a child, and he has been a fabulous resource.
My uncle was blind since birth and he could tell you who walked in the room with him by their smell and the sound of their footsteps. It was amazing. Can't wait to read when you are done.
I have read all three of your books and I am a huge fan of how you write and just blow me away. I am most excited to read this novel of yours.
