Judy Lindow It's rare for a twist to confound me this much. I just didn't have the energy to go back searching for clues ... did you find any??

Lilithanne I didn't see any clues about Zoe and Sebastian, and also didn't see any clues that Sebastian was actually a sociopath. Would have thought his trained therapist wife picked up on it.

Judy Lindow All I remember is that Sebastian was always Zoe's favorite -- I don't think it's uncommon with have one parent (heterosexual or otherwise) be the favorite of a child. Resentment and blaming someone would also be natural, I'd think.

Judy Lindow I never got that the wife had any suspicions.

Judy Mariana thinks back to when they dropped Zoe off at college and Sebastian looked at Zoe with such fondness and love. Mariana thought it was the love of a parent for a child. Sebastian was involved with Mariana before he even met her child niece. We have only Zoe's word that Sebastian was behind all of this.
