Why would Elle listen to any advice from her mother? She is the worst role model ever, & the reason Elle didn't stop Conrad. Elle can never be the girl she was, & will realize that after the adrenaline rush wears off.
Liz, I agree with everything you say and I felt the same way when I read those lines. I'm kind of glad she chose Jonas. As much as she loves Peter and her family, Jonas is her true love and I don't think she could ever truly be at peace with Peter - especially after speaking with Rosemary.
Elle doesn't even know what true love is, she never gave herself the chance to be "at peace" with Peter because she kept secrets. Jonas is part of her past, Peter & her family are her present & future. ( What Rosemary said has nothing to do with anything else that happened.)
