may I ask why you think so?
I think I read a different book from you. There were so many hints that Kit was going to acknowledge that she liked girls. The scene you refer to was more than a mere second and it came right at the end of the book - not much more to resolve at that point. Why did you think she was poorly written? I loved her sass.
Kit was an excellent character. Her sexuality was one facet of her personality, just as it is for most people. This book was terrific.
Don't bother to read a book because there isn't enough gay in it? lol
Poorly written? I’m sorry if you have a hard time comprehending books that actually have good writing, relatable complex character, etc, then you can go back to your faerie smut because obviously that is your expectation in every popular book.
