Do you read any of your stories on audio books? If not, I wonder why not? I have not listened to an audio book (would have to buy CDs, can't download much) but can't imagine authors not reading their own.
I do not have a voice for audiobooks, whereas professional narrators are trained voice actors. Stephen King often narrates his own books, and as much as I love his writing, I don't love his narration. Unless an author truly has a voice for radio, it's best to leave audiobook narration to those with the training and skill to bring a book to life.
