Linda C Yeah, I always love the "being ashamed" comment when someone dislikes something you say. I delete them as well. The moral indignation shows up all the time. "How dare you do this. How dare you do that... blah blah blah.

My answer to the original questioner-- stick to the Christian fiction shelf. Then your tender sensibilities won't be offended.

Nicole W. I think personally, these questions interest me because I'm a high school librarian and a good handful of my kiddos are adverse to swearing/sex/violence, so it makes me able to say "oh yea, it looks like that one might be not great for you (at 13 years old)".
Personally, I don't care that books swear and swear like a sailor on my own, but I think oftentimes there are people asking for reasons like this :) I can't read every single book in my library, so goodreads allows me to filter and provide better recommendations to serve my students :)
