Thank you Kato, for your very thoughtful analysis of reasons for the random book titles, authors, etc. listed at the beginnings of each chapter. You make some very interesting points. I like how you relate to the rather random way we often search library shelves, and also that the listings give some scale of the loss of books due to the devastating fire. Thanks so much!
