Ezgi C I assume you mean the photograph of Tony, Bobby and Jason, which was left by Tony's killer? I believe it was actually taken in 2000, not 1970s. Also, I believe Ian was not involved in the gang, and the said gang (if again, you mean Tony, Bobby, Jason and the like) operated before 2000, again not 1970s. That was my understanding, correct me if I am wrong.

Ezgi C I also could not find a way to mark my comment as spoiler, many apologies.

Kay Dee (what is your storygraph name? mine is in my bio. join me!) Meadows the question is marked as a spoiler. thus the answers are as well. anybody who cannot figure that out probably cannot understand this book anyway. it is a lot of murders and suicides and red herrings and characters.

Jennifer My understanding is the same as Ezgi's. The photo was taken in 2000. The murders did not all happen at the same time. The stuff involving Tony Curran, Bogdan, Kazimir, Turkish Johnny and the young boy selling drugs on someone else's turf happened in 2000 or around then. The precursor to Ian Ventham's murder happened very early in the story arc (annie Maddely's murder by Peter Mercer and then his murder by Penny) and well before 2000. Ian Ventham's murder happened in the very recent story arc in a bid to protect evidence.

Brian That photo wasn't from the 70's. It was taken around 2000.
