Kirsten Hacker I'm not sure about that. Ishiguro's Klara and the Sun's top rated reviews are rather negative because the expectations were so high after Never Let Me Go. Haig's reviews started good and slowly dropped.

Franco D I don't believe your argument is very logical but it is possible that people who didnt like the book will subconsciously rate it even more negatively because it had been promoted as very good and they feel cheated. sort of to re establish good equilibrium.
