Barbara, did you actually read the book? Very first chapter she talks about sinking into the dark water. I'm not sure why you are raising the issue as you stated but I have to agree that it is completely annoying that you are! I have read several books in all the years I have been reading that the cover had absolutely nothing to do with the story inside but it has never deterred me from the story. I do pick up some books because the cover drew my attention,but usually I buy books because I LOVE EVERYTHING that author has written! Remember: :DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER!!!!!!"
The book opens with the main character dreaming of the body of water she found a missing girl in, so yes, it’s quite relevant.
