Stacie Covington Interesting! The epilogue redeemed the ending for me. I read the man in the epilogue as Hayler though and how he's been stalking her since he attempted to drown her and escaped. That's the only major unresolved issue for Elin by the end of the book. Seems like a set-up for a sequel to me.

Kila Roffler Definitely a set-up for a sequel, the thriller continues.

Alice O'Brien I don’t even remember someone named Hayler? When was he mentioned?

Stacie Covington @Alice Hayler is mentioned multiple times throughout the book, and there are a lot of times when he’s alluded to without being directly named. He is the guy who tried to drown her and therefore escaped during her first case as detective gone awry. He is the reason she has been on leave from work.

Carolyn Well the book sure didn’t explain that at all. Ridiculous!
