Hi Lori, yes this makes a lot of sense to me as Blythe seemed like an increasingly unreliable narrator as the story unfolded, but at the same time Violet didn't seem "normal" at all. This book will stick with me for a long time I think. Thanks for answering!
I don't think it's an open ended story. If the epilogue were written in First Person like the rest of the book, then maybe we can see it being open ended. But it was written in third person, so I'm pretty sure Violet did something to Jett and whatever Blythe thought about Violet was all real.
