Scott Kirkpatrick Salem's Lot was my first Stephen King book. It made me a life long fan. It is still my favorite(I think...so many now to choose from). I re-read it just about every fall.

megs_bookrack ((struggling to catch up)) Oh, wow. I didn't know this about you. Salem's Lot was the first Adult Horror novel I read too. I was in the 4th grade and I never turned back. Absolutely fell in love and it has def influenced my tastes for life. I'm happy you had the same experience with it!
