I read My Sister's Keeper and don't remember any reader choice???
I don't remember exactly. I just re-read a summary and I think after the car accident killed one sister and left the other alive due to the organ transplants, I think I felt the ending was a cop out on the author's part. So not so much reader's choice, as maddening ending! In my opinion of course. And it's been a while since I read it.
There was no open choice in the ending of “my sisters keeper”. It was unexpected and shocking and brilliant, I thought. But definitely nothing left to the choice of the reader about what happened
